Tento atlas poskytuje podrobný návod k používání video-oto-endoskopu (VOE) jako nástroje pro studium onemocnění uší u koček a psů. Publikace je ilustrovaná četnými obrázky ve vysokém rozlišení a případovými studiemi vysvětluje velmi srozumitelným způsobem, kdy a jak používat VOE. Vysvětluje jak odlišit normální a patologické stavy v uchu pacienta a vede uživatele k exaktní diagnostice určitého onemocnění. Hlavní část knihy poskytuje podrobné informace o příčinách, klinickém obrazu a klinických projevech, jako je akutní otitis externa, chronická otitis externa a otitis media u malých zvířat. Atlas navíc seznamuje uživatele s technickými údaji přístroje a dává tipy pro jeho správnou manipulaci a údržbu. Dále jsou čtenáři poučeni o tom, jak nejlépe připravit zvířecího pacienta na vyšetření VOE. Autor: Dr. Giovanni Ghibaudo graduated in veterinary medicine from the University of Milan, Italy, in 1996. He works as referral dermatologist for several clinics in Northern and Central Italy. His activities focus on veterinary dermatology, otology, oto-endoscopy, dermatologic laser-therapy and laser-surgery in small animals. Dr. Ghibaudo is a full member of the ESVD (European Society of Veterinary Dermatology) and the SIDEV (Società Italiana di Dermatologia Veterinaria). He lecured in numerous national and international meetings. Furthermore, Dr. Ghibaudo published over 100 scientific papers in Italian and international veterinary journals. Dr. Ghibaudo is an experienced textbook author who published several successful volumes in Italian language.
