Další kapitoly jsou členněny dle orgánových a anatomických soustav (kůže a podkoží, hlava a krk, orální novotvary, trávící systém, respiratorní systém a hrudník, kardiovaskulární systém, reprodukční systém, močový systém, víčka, oči a orbita, endokrinní soustava, hemolymfatický systém, nerovový systém, muskuloskeletální systém.

Surgery is the most common therapy modality for general practitioners treating tumours in small animal patients, and surgical oncology is a growing specialty within veterinary surgery and oncology. Although surgical oncologic procedures are common in both general and specialty practice, information on veterinary surgical oncology is scattered throughout texts and journal literature, making it difficult to access and leading to inadequate treatment of many cancer cases.
Veterinary Surgical Oncology provides in-depth coverage of surgical techniques for treating tumours in small animal patients. Organized by body system, each chapter presents detailed, well-illustrated descriptions of surgical procedures, with additional information on diagnostic testing, aftercare, outcomes, and prognosis. Edited and authored by members of the Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncologists, Veterinary Surgical Oncology's comprehensive coverage of surgical treatments for cancer is equally useful for veterinary surgeons and veterinary oncologists.

• Highly illustrated throughout, with more than 800 images.

Review
“A must for every surgeon willing to go beyond the simple removal of a lump!.” (Vet Nurses Today, 1 January 2013)
“It is a welcome addition to my bookshelf and I would recommend it to others without hesitation.” (Veterinary Record, 16 February 2013)
“This book is highly informative and an excellent aid to practicing surgeons. The quality and completeness of the information is unparalleled in the veterinary textbook literature. The book excels because of its inclusion of previously neglected conditions, the handy and applicable summary of published recommendations for treatment, and the quality and quantity of detailed illustrations demonstrating surgical technique.” (Doody’s, 4 January 2013)
