Ve dvanáctě kapitole jsou uvedeny doporučené anesteziologické protokoly. Druhá kapitola se zabývá odontologií a vývojem zubu. Třetí kapitola doporučuje a popisuje bez kterých nástrojů a přístrojů není možno vykonat specializovaný úkon, kterým se ošetření zubů u divokých a zoo zvířat. Čtvrtá kapitola čtenáři objasní stomatologickou terminologii s ohledem na rozmanitost vývoje a funkce zubů. V páté kapitole se autoři zaměřili na zuby psovitých šelem, jejich endodontické, periodontické ošetření, chirurgické zákroky. V šesté kapitole se věnuji herbivorním savcům. Zvláštní kapitola je zasvěcena ošetření zubů a klů slonů a hroších zubů. Devátá kapitole popisuje ošetření orální dutiny u primátů. Desátá kapitola je přehledem řešení u defektů zobáků u ptačích pacientů. Druhá část publikace je přehledem důležitých stomatologických informací u 352 živočišných druhů divokých zvířat. Informace jsou vyjádřeny stručně a přehledně zubním vzorcem (ty jsou podrobně uspořádány v tabulce v příloze č. 3), druhem zubů, dentice, počtem zubů, zvláštnosti lebky s ohledem na utváření orální dutiny a zvláštnosti dentální anatomie savců, plazů a ptáků. Kniha je bohatě ilustrována kvalitními fotografiemi, rentgenovými snímky a záběry stomatologických zákroků. Publikaci uzavírá přehledný terminologický slovní a rejstřík usnadňující čtenáři orientaci v dané problematice.
